Adelaide Airport Water Feature

The wide-open plaza at the Adelaide Airport is punctuated by a 35M long x 4M wide carved granite water feature inspired by creeks that trickle through the dry desert and was installed by Commercial Ceramics. The sculptured watercourse is made up of individual granite pieces which fit together, each piece different from the next. The granite was fastidiously installed on a concrete substrate using the Steintec bedding and grouting system. The external cladding was also mechanically fixed.
