ANZAC Centenary Memorial Walk

The ANZAC Centenary Memorial Walk saw Kintore Avenue transformed into a public space commemorating 100 years since Australia’s involvement in the First World War. Commercial Ceramics was tasked with supplying and installing the centrepiece of the memorial; the polished Adelaide Black granite wall etched with markers and imagery representing the diversity of conflicts in which Australian service men and women have been involved. This impressive granite wall was achieved through a detailed process of transferring photos into images on the panels with the etching done by hand. The planter boxes framing the wide walkway were also clad in the polished black granite.
